You might be all about that massive hunkrific pool party fundraiser in Piedmont each July, but the volunteers from Joining Hearts do their charity thing year-round. On Sunday, they put on their Santa hats.
Scores of people continuing their holigays celebration were on hand for Wish List, the annual December bash from Joining Hearts that collects toys for families in need.
Jerusalem House and the Teen Program of AID Atlanta benefitted from Sunday’s event, which was held in the Sherwood Forest home of Jeff Brewer and Kevin Jerome.
Joining Hearts raised $185,000 for AID Atlanta and Jerusalem House this year, a record amount for the group that is entering its 25th year. They’ve now raised a whopping $1.34 million for charity.
