Joining Hearts’ 27th season came to a festive close Sunday. As one final big gay fundraiser in an already big year for donations, the Wish List party included gifts for family clients of Jerusalem House and AID Atlanta.
The annual event at a private residence offered complimentary cocktails, catered hors d’oeuvres and good company. All of that cost attendees just a gift, gift card or cash so that gay Atlanta could give one last time to the group’s two beneficiaries.
Wish List wraps up a year that has already seen a $195,000 donation, bringinig Joining Hearts’ lifetime donations to nearly $2 million in 27 years. The money comes from year-round fundraisers of every possible kind that started as early as Valentine’s Day and included the Joining Hearts 27 namesake main event, gay Atlanta’s biggest charity pool party (view photos) filled with the hunkiest hunks.
