Just as your need came to a froth for a fix from one of gay Atlanta’s most prolific charity party crews, Joining Hearts returns. Its 2015 push for fun and funds began on Sunday with Valentine cocktails dubbed Love on the Rocks.
As it is with every year, the (almost) year-round party train toward summer’s biggest gay charity pool party returns to the scene after a January hiatus. The Valentine event marks the beginning of the organization’s 28th year.
Just over a month since Joining Hearts’ big gay New Year’s Eve and epic 2014 donation, Love on the Rocks at Cantoni mixed its drinks with DJ Sean Mac, a silent auction, nibbles and love in the air for beneficiaries Jerusalem House and AID Atlanta.
The group’s namesake pool party Joining Hearts 28 and its many-splendored abs are set for July in Piedmont Park. Keep your eyes peeled for plenty of parties until then, including Change of Seasons in the spring.
