Joining Hearts draws a crowd to Heretic on Thanksgiving Eve

Of the many things gay Atlanta can be thankful for each year, an expanded party schedule when a day off pops up is on the list. On Thanksgiving Eve, that always includes a Heretic event.

The bar’s pre-Turkey Day festivities this year benefited one of Atlanta’s stalwart year-round gay charity event series, Joining Hearts. DJ David Knapp hit the beat on Wednesday to spin Atlanta into the holiday. The combination of the party, the cause and the entertainment pulled in hundreds to help local HIV housing programs.
