Jerusalem House + open bar = Affair of the Art

The equation is simple. Add art auctions and cocktails to a chic crowd and one of gay Atlanta’s favorite charities, and you have a must-see event. That added up to Affair of the Art to kick off 2014 for Jerusalem House.

Just a few other variables cinched the successful outcome on Saturday at Atlanta Decorative Arts Center. After a very lucrative year for the HIV/AIDS housing program in 2013, the JH gays and gals enjoyed DJ Sean Mac, a live painting demonstration by gay artist Patrick Hanson (photo), and new works by other established artists in addition to those by students and Jerusalem House residents. Proceeds from the event benefited Jerusalem House and ArtsNow.
