Just a day after cutting a coming out to Britney Spears scene, Fox’s “X Factor” delivered a glitterbomb of gay in the form of San Francisco tech support queen Jason Brock. And he blew the doors off the place.
The four-judge panel, frustrated after finding lots of abs but no talent in the Bay Area, was ready to pack it up on Thursday’s show. And when a package about 34-year-old Jason Brock opened with “9 to 5,” you had to figure this was another dud.
You figured wrong. But it took a minute.
Brock was brimming with gay and confidence, offering this in the intro clip: “When my voice comes out, it is unbelievable.”
Girl, please.
And when he hit the stage explaining his grand vision of a show with smoke, dancers and a moving stage, we rolled our eyes along with Simon Cowell.
Then Brock nailed “New York State of Mind.” And became an early frontrunner. Watch in the clip above.
