Is this the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ in Georgia?

Add this share

This brotastic college guy from metro Atlanta is a football loving, gun toting, fitness buff who just happens to be the most swiped guy in Georgia on Tinder. We'd totally right swipe him.

Giovanni Barreto, a 24-year-old college student, is a smiling mass of sexy man from Kennesaw. And when People magazine named soccer stud David Beckham its “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2015 – yes, we know why – the magazine also partnered with Tinder to discover the guy most right swiped in each state.

And that's how we get to Barreto. People described our guy like this: “Southern charm is just oozing out of this photo.” Agreed.

When the AJC caught up with him, Barreto played modest. Which is sexy.

Here is what Barreto, who is currently single, had to say about the whole crazy experience.

Q: What was your reaction when you found out you were the most right swiped guy in GA on Tinder?

A: I was very surprised. I really did not go on my profile that much and had no idea there were that many swipes until they contacted me.

Sure. Just like all those Grindr guys “looking for friends.”

Hotter still for Barreto, though, is his career goal: firefighter.

Q: What are you goals for the future?

A: I am currently taking a semester off of school, trying to decide what career path I really want to take. I always wanted to be a firefighter. I am going to pursue that avenue and see where it takes me.

Which is hotter – imagining Barreto as a firefighter? Or this real-life Atlanta area cop?

Barreto has locked down most of his social media since all the attention. But we did manage to find a few tweets that shed some insight on this Tinder hottie.

His big gun.

Not taking himself too seriously.

Bawdy bro.

The game with the fellas. (Watch that hand!)
