Hundreds show their Pride in Piedmont Park run

Hundreds of adults, kids and four-legged friends kicked Saturday off by taking part in the 28th Annual Atlanta Pride Run & Walk in Piedmont Park.

Some 330 people took part in the 3.1 mile race and walk organized by Front Runners Atlanta running club and benefiting Joining Hearts.

Erick White took first place overall with a time of 17:40:85, taking back his 2016 crown after finishing second last year.

On the women’s side, Sally Kirklewski finished first with a time of 20:42:93, besting Jennifer Hom by one minute.
