imageWeather permitting and Mother Nature cooperating, the jocks of the National Flag Football League of Atlanta return to the field on Saturday morning for a round of four games.

The league didn’t play on April 17, so their home — the athletic field at Candler Park — could make room for the Sweetwater 420 Fest. But with storms in the weather forecast on Saturday and the City of Atlanta holding a hair trigger on the closed sign for parks when it does, a little rain could dampen the league’s schedule.

imageIf dark clouds are lurking when games kick off at 9:45 a.m., tune into the league’s website or Twitter account for updates before heading out.

With four weeks remaining in the regular season, the Woof”s Wildcats and their 3-0 record lead the league. Four other teams in the eight-team league are tied for second.

The NFFLA opened its spring season on March 20 with a round of pre-season games and then took to the field for games that count a week later.
