The gay jocks of the Houston Hurricanes Flag Football League took their new recruits through the paces on Saturday as they warm up for the upcoming flag football season.

The skills sessions – a battery of sprints, flag grabbing, interception drills, running routes, blocking and catching – unfolded for a few hours during scorching heat at American Legion Park.

The Hurricanes hope to field eight teams for the fall season, which opens Sept. 12. The jocks hit the field again on Aug. 29 for their final recruitment event before its Draft Party that night.
