The Hotlanta Softball League opened its Fall Ball season on Sunday.

Fall Ball returned to the athletic fields of Piedmont Park for its five-week season, which runs until Oct. 26. Games begin at 9 a.m.

“Our Fall Ball is nowhere near as large as the regular season,” Art Davenport, HSL’s Open Division secretary, said before the season opened. “Fall Ball is there for us to have fun and it is more social than our regular season because we interact more.”
