Aspiring jocks and returning veterans hit the athletic fields of Piedmont Park on Saturday for the the Hotlanta Softball League’s annual preseason clinic.
With the season opener set for March 22, the clinic gave the league’s coaches the opportunity to evaluate players and see if they’re the right fit for any roster openings. The players worked through fielding and throwing drills before heading to a nearby cantina for some socializing.
The season includes a scheduled 10 weeks of regular season play that stretches into mid June, followed by the league’s annual tournament and Commissioner’s Cup.
