The Hotlanta Softball League’s season kept chugging along on Sunday as its three-dozen teams hit the fields for their usual two-a-day games.
Both the men’s and women’s divisions continue on June 14, with the men’s side adding games on June 21 to make up for a rain out earlier in the season. Then the entire league takes a week off before they host the Big Peach Softball Tournament. The 36-team event is set for July 3-5.
The league this week posted standings on its website for the Open Division, which is comprised of 23 men’s teams:
A Division
First place – tied – Atlanta Sluggers and Georgia Mudcats
Third Place – Atlanta Avengers-A
Fourth Place – Atlanta Venom
B Division
Atlanta Packers
Second place – tied – A-Town Ballers and the Sharks
Fourth place – Atlanta Comets
C Division
First place – tied – Atlanta Avengers, The Pride and Wet Demons
Fourth Place – Woofs Pounders
D Division
First place – tied – BJ Roosters and the Big Tease
Third place – Atlanta Avengers
Fourth place – ATL Talons
