Hotlanta Softball jocks slide into new season

The pre-season beer busts over and the team jersey party behind them, the jocks of Hotlanta Softball returned to the fields on Sunday to hit, pitch and throw their way into a new season.

A spring day of stunning weather certainly didn't hurt as the games played out at the Atlanta Metro Softball Complex in southwest Fulton. We teased you with 31 ways these players rock their uniforms; they didn't disappoint on Sunday.

Of course, Opening Day closed down with a beer bust at Joe's.

The batch of games is the opening salvo in the chase for a World Series berth this August in Columbus, Ohio. In October, 10 HSL teams competed in the tournament. The Showstoppers captured the B Division crown, marking the first time that a gay Atlanta team won that division.

The season continues on Sunday with play on the field and off with an Extra Innings Beer Bust at Henry's Midtown
