Whether he’s dubbed Hot Gay Joe or the Connoisseur of Culture, Joe Bechely (top photo) can dish when it comes to what will be hip and fresh in gay Atlanta this year and did so during a stop before a gay networking group.

imageBechely headlined the Atlanta Executive Network’s first event of 2010 on Jan. 21, spicing up the monthly networking session with tips on Atlanta’s digital media stars — thanks for the shout out to Project Q, Joe — tools to discover Atlanta with your iPhone — there’s more than Grindr, you know — and ways to enhance both your AEN experience and your life in general. When a guy dubbed Hot Gay Joe offers advice for free, it never hurts to listen in.

Bechely, the partner of newly minted Atlanta City Council member Alex Wan, was known as Hot Gay Joe during his stint on Star 94. Though he’s no longer affiliated with the radio station, Bechley blogs at Life’s a Bech(ely).

Next up for AEN: Life coach Christopher Burell, the founder of InspireU, on Feb. 18. Read the full event listing.
