Because everybody's a little gay, “Honey Boo Boo” reality star, family patriarch and metro Atlanta guy Mike Thompson (Sugar Bear) admitted that he's cheated on longtime love Mama June Shannon with men.
He made a run for the D while estranged from Mama June Shannon, just in case the mess that is the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” clan needed more drama swirling around their Henry County home. There was sexting, dick pics and even doing the deed, Thompson admitted on a recent episode of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.”
Thompson and his man found one another old school – through a Craigslist personal ad.
Though sources close to the former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo patriarch swore it was all a publicity stunt, RadarOnline.com has now learned that Thompson exchanged steamy text messages with a man— including X-rated photos!
According to a family insider, the 43-year-old reality star met the man on Craigslist, and soon started hooking up in secret trysts behind Shannon’s back.
And Thompson's hookup doens't just want Sugar Bear, he wants a sugar daddy. Via Radar:
Radar has seen the explicit text messages, allegedly sent between Sugar Bear and his lover, which include a graphic picture of the lover’s penis.
In another, the man begged Thompson for money.
“I need that $40 to pay the light bill,” he wrote.
Shannon insists the photos she found on Thompson's phone went full frontal. He says otherwise. Via Radar:
“I saw the guy’s peepee,” Shannon, 35, told the cameras after claiming she spotted the X-rated snaps.
“It was not, it was his a**!” Thompson snapped.
“I have the picture upstairs, I can show you,” she responded. “It’s a black guy.”
Thompson is the brother of Uncle Poodle (Lee Thompson), a gay man who made regular appearances on the former TLC show. Before it imploded. At least Uncle Poodle has the good sense to use Grindr.
But the Thompson brothers aren't the only members of the family to scratch that LGBT itch. One of Mama June's other daughters, Pumpkin, is bisexual and was trying patch things up with her girlfriend. Not to be outdone, Mama June said she's bi, too in an interview last year.
While Mama June Shannon was there to support her daughter, the focus quickly turned to her, as Pumpkin suddenly blurted out, “She is gay, too! June is gay, too!”
Smiling at her daughter, and not at all shocked, Mama June chimed in to clarify, “Bisexual.” June then elaborated with the comment, “I'm not going to lie, I played in the minors but never went pro” [went all the way with a woman].
Like that child philosopher Honey Boo Boo once said, “Everybody's a little gay.”
