Hit me: Flag football results from week one

Flag football seemed to be playing Blackjack last Saturday.

You know the card game – the hand with the highest total wins as long as it doesn’t exceed 21.

For the six teams of the National Flag Football League of Atlanta, which opened its season on March 29, that seemed to be the goal. Winners took their games with point totals no greater than 20.

Results from Week One: Broncos 19, ’71 Clippers 0; Wildcats 19, Raiders 13; Pirates 20, Rams 6.

Games continue on Saturday with the Raiders v. Pirates at 11 a.m., ’71 Clippers v. Rams at 12 p.m. and Wildcats v. Broncos at 1 p.m. Games have been shifted to Central Park in Midtown.
