Grindr adds trick timer to get you laid quicker

Grindr wants to make it as simple and speedy as ever to get you laid. So they're revamping the hookup app to provide bigger photos and a trick timer so you know exactly how long it will take until you get laid.

Thirsty bitches everywhere rejoice!

To stimulate you visually, the new user profile offers an enhanced photo (second image) to better see every curve and ab on those sexy headless torsos. You'll have to tap your potential tricks “profile” portion of the screen to get all of his particulars (and racist rants).

To stimulate your wallet, the update makes swiping between chats and profiles free for everyone, not just Grindr Xtra users. Gone, too, is that gold bar across the top of profiles.

But better still, to get you stimulated physically, the app improves its location capabilities with travel time (bottom image). Before, you only knew the distance between you and Mr. Right Now. With the update, now you know travel time, too. Because you're just that impatient.

Engadget breaks it down:

So let's say you've been messaging with Dylan for the past few days, but now that you know he's 45 minutes away that might change the situation a bit — especially when your fall-back, Bryan, is only a five-minute walk from your apartment. That could affect your evening's plans considerably we'd imagine ('in a quarter-mile, turn right and smile).

So brush up on your Grindr no-nos and then take a spin on the updated app. But remember, even with an improved app, your Grindr three way in a jockstrap can still go very, very wrong.
