Navigating whether the object of your affection is taken, available or a distinct possibility at a gay bar is a bumpy ride on any night. But the roadmap was more illuminated by the Traffic Light Party on Saturday at My Sister’s Room.
The signals that the ladies were throwing each other during the event at the East Atlanta lesbian bar were color-coded for convenience: red for taken, yellow for maybe and green for available. No matter what the color of glow band they were wearing, or whether they participated in the speed dating, pretty much everybody was a go for fun.
Maybe it was the atmosphere, and maybe it was the Traffic Light theme. It was definitely due in part to an undulating dance floor moved by visiting DJ Annalyze.
