Atlanta’s gay Latinos got in on the Pride action on Friday when Club Rush pumped up the volume on its weekly gay Got Leche?night. Appearances included “Ru Paul’s Drag Race’s” Yara Sofia and Spanish pop sensation Sonia Madoc.

All the way from Barcelona, Madoc sang her pop hits, while Sofia brought served comedy with a side dish of fish for her act. Both divas got the crowd going, and as both told us before the big night, they love their fans even more during Pride.

“Pride to me is freedom in people being themselves and celebrating life and who they are,” Madoc told Project Q Atlanta.

Throw in some strippers of both sexes, drag performances by local favorites, plenty of beer and a room full of hot Latin gays, and it’s a party, or to quote Madoc’s hit, “Bienvenido a la fiesta.”
