Georgia’s own Honey Boo Boo loves her gays

Move over Ben Cohen and Stuart Milk. Georgia’s own Honey Boo Boo is angling for an Honorary Grand Marshal slot at the Atlanta Pride parade this month, thanks to her auto-tuned song “Everybody’s a Little Gay,” gay Uncle Poodle and enough sass to rival the Armorettes.

The chubby little darling of TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” ended the reality show’s first season on Sept. 26 by offering a pretty progressive take on gays and her gay uncle. Better yet, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” took the quip, auto-tuned it and created an instant Pride anthem (top video).

Alana’s mom, June, chimed in about Uncle Poodle, too: “He’s got a little fruit in his tank, what can I say?”

Not bad for a 7-year-old from south Georgia. Honey Boo Boo for Atlanta Pride grand marshal! Or at least offer her a spot in the Starlight Cabaret.
