Gay Georgians may not be able to get legally hitched in the state, but that didn’t stop more than 400 people from taking a look at the possibilities for their big day during a wedding expo on Sunday.

The 6th Atlanta LGBT Wedding Expo drew crowds and about two-dozen exhibitors to the Hotel Palomar to learn the ins and outs of organizing the ceremony and how to find vendors willing to go the extra step.

imageThe expo marked the return of the event from the Rainbow Wedding Network, which hosted five similar events in Atlanta between 2004 and 2008.

Among the exhibitors were legal experts and vendors from the travel, gift and catering industries. Attendees left with a swag bag packed with ideas to help couples plan their own special day.
