Gay softball jocks cap season with awards banquet

The Southern Softpaw League celebrated the end of its 10th season on Saturday with a spread of food, drinks and awards.

The members of the LGBTQ softball league took their annual awards banquet to Corner Tavern in Hapeville this time around.

Saturday night’s event followed the SSL Fall Ball Championships which happened all day at Nickajack Park in Mableton.The Moose Knuckles won the Just Fun Division, the Reign won the Competitive Fun Division, the Primetime Elite won the Super Competitive Division and the Heat won the SSL Underdogs Division.
