Gay rugby Bucks do drag to raise big bucks

The burly boys of the Atlanta Bucks swapped their rugby shorts for drag on Saturday for their campy Ruck N Maul pageant that raised some big bucks for charity.

Six contestants vied for the coveted crown, outdone in the end by D'Kweena England (top photo). But with stage names including Bianca Bounce, Honey Pot, Ebony Creampie (who won Miss Congeniality), Allota Poyo and Ivana Biscuit, everyone was a winner.

The event at Jungle raised $6,174 to support the Bucks taking part in the Bingham Cup next year in Sydney and to benefit Lost N Found Youth, which cares for homeless gay youth in Atlanta. In 2011, the event and a silent auction raised a record $12,500. Ruck N Maul raised $3,700 in 2010 and $7,500 a year before that.
