With their gloves, bats and sweatshirts to stay warm, gay jocks took to the field on Sunday ahead of the opening of a new Montrose Softball League season.
Rookies to veterans brushed up on their skills during Recruitment Day at the Houston Sportsplex. The league hits the field on March 12 for the 26th Annual Lone Star Classic before Opening Day a week later on March 20.
Last month, the league won Sports Team/League of the Year during the FACE Awards from About Magazine.
