READ MORE | Who’s the hot guy that crashed the Pride Run?
Running your Pride got a little quicker on Saturday: Both the men's and women's winners of the Pride run shaved nearly two minutes off past winning times as more than 300 slower people trailed behind them.
Cory Baumann, complete with tats and earrings, hit the finish line of the 23rd Annual Atlanta Pride 5K Run & Walk with a time of 15:31.26 to take first place overall and in the men's division. Not bad for the 27-year-old Baumann, who came in more than two minutes faster than Andrew Sullivan's winning times in 2012 and 2011.
For the women, Jennifer Monroe sprinted across the finish line with a time of 18:42.44, nearly two-and-a-half-minutes faster than Katarina Dubcova's winnings times in 2012 and 2010.
Mark Steyvers (17:13.66) and Susan Laury (23:13.21) took the masters titles in their respective categories. View the full list of winners and participants.
The event from Front Runners Atlanta, sponsored this year by American Roadhouse, benefits Lost N Found Youth and Atlanta Pride Committee. Nearly 400 people laced up for the event last year (view photos).
