Gay Instagram stages #SouthernDecadence takeover

People toss around words like “legendary” pretty lightly, but some events live up to the name and the hype. When gay throngs descend on New Orleans each Labor Day, there’s only one Southern Decadence.

The #instagay army was out in force. If you weren’t among thousands in a gay contingent that wouldn’t miss the annual tribute to gay male debauchery that is SoDec, or for some reason you weren’t able to attend this year, Instgram was the next best thing to being there.

We kept tabs on our gays by checking back on the #SouthernDecadence and #NOLA hashtags. Scrolling through visuals to taste the depravity for ourselves became a thing throughout the weekend. In a very sassy edition to the Morning Fix of flesh, here are some lasting impressions, from luscious to lascivious to laughable to … legendary.
