For its second anniversary, the Roy G. Biv Project: Atlanta LGBT Families celebrated good fortune, good works and good friends on Sunday with a good old fashioned picnic in Piedmont Park.
Proving that if you fire up a grill, they will come, a large crowd gathered for hot dogs, hamburgers and all the fixings under a rainbow umbrella near the park’s playground. All of the food for LGBT BBQ was provided by Pride at Six Flags, an annual event held in August.
