Gay duo tops Houston power couples list

When local LGBT people hit the mainstream press and it’s not about gay issues or court cases, it’s time to celebrate increasing inclusiveness. Color us tickled pink with the gay dynamic duo in “Better Together.”

An influential 17 pairs made the cut for the Chronicle's Better Together: Houston Power Couples feature. For their place among them, mono-monikered Ceron (photo, right) earned his half of the honor on the well-coiffed heads of well-heeled Houstonians. A similarly tony in-crowd seeks out his husband Todd Fiscus (left) for coast-to-coast parties by his eponymous event planning firm. Together, they were shoo-ins for the nod.

Ceron and Todd Fiscus

Ceron styles the tresses of some of Houston’s most high profile socialites and philanthropists. Fiscus is a renowned event planner with national company headquarters in Dallas; Fiscus recently opened a Houston outpost. The pair married last year with a string of lavish parties in Manhattan.

Of course they did. Three cheers for Ceron and Todd! We’ll happily add them to our list of local LGBT luminaries, like lesbian Mayor Annise “First Comes Love” Parker and her First Lady, and these “Most Inspiring” gay men.
