VIEW MORE PHOTOS | Gay Day @ Six Flags Over Georgia The thrills and spills of rides and attractions drew every shade of Atlanta’s LGBT rainbow to Six Flags Over Georgia on Saturday for fun in the sun followed by a well-earned picnic in the pavilion. The creative minds at Unity Entertainment put their heads together to put a little Pride in the theme park and spread a little summer joy to hundreds of friends and families, couples and singles, young and old folks alike. A baking summer sun, breathtaking rides, and walking around a particularly colorful park was exhausting but worth it. A full day built the community spirit and a powerful hunger in the sunburned masses. Luckily, the organizers anticipated as much. A group discount not only cut the regular price of admission but also afforded all comers a respite in the shade of the park’s Peachtree Pavillion for an all-they-could-eat picnic buffet in the evening.
