Gay bears and other wildlife let loose on the Eagle ‘4 Hope’

Get used to hearing the name Ready 4 Hope. The upcoming gay boat cruise across Lake Lanier already has gays gathering to fundraise for AIDS Walk Atlanta, including Saturday’s completely unleashed, hottie infused Bear-B-Cue at the Eagle.

A patio full of R4H supporters took advantage of the rare rainless day to do bottomless beer and food for the cause. The hottest day of the year was made even hotter with beats from popular DJ Vicki Powell and a crowd of gay men looking to raise fun and funds.

One lucky raffle winner got free tickets to the Sept. 14 Ready 4 Hope boat cruise, the main event on Lake Lanier. It's part of a big gay lineup in gay Atlanta’s newest favorite weekend that starts with a bear-y sexy kickoff at Heretic on Sept. 13 and ends with a Tea Dance at Jungle on Sept. 15. All of it benefits AIDS Walk.
