Gay Atlanta’s football jocks crown new champs

With a rally from deep in the playoff seedings, the Frogs won the season championship of Atlanta's gay flag football league on Saturday. It took plenty of cocktails to get there.

The Frogs dropped their semi-final opponent Burkhart's Bangerz before defeating the Campagnolo Noodles 20 to 6 to win the title during a slate of playoff games in Grant Park. The Noodles beat the Jungle Jukes for their spot in the finals.

The gay jocks of the National Flag Football League of Atlanta kicked off the season in March and toasted its start with friends and margaritas. That was after the league enjoyed the Super Bowl at Ten and picked their teams with a party at Blake's.
