Gay Atlanta tailgates at Ansley on Super Bowl Sunday

With bartenders in referee drag, sporty types raising spring training funds and the excitement of the Super Bowl, Hideaway at Ansley mall was the place to be on Sunday.

Our photographer snapped the smiles as patrons enjoyed catered pre-game tailgate fare and a beer bust. Members of the Southern Vortex, a team in Hotlanta Softball League’s upcoming season, kept the fun and fundraising flowing with games of Square Party and rounds of Jell-O shots.

Next up at Hideaway, it’s Fresh Meet Softball, with members of HSL greeting the new players of 2022.
