Gay Atlanta stages #Pensacola2015 takeover

MORE | Messy gays trash Pensacola for Memorial Day

If you’re gay and on Instagram in Atlanta, you were inundated all Memorial Weekend with images of sexy beach bodies, fun in the sun, night moves and merriment. Here's the next best thing to being there.

Atlanta's #Instagay nation started noticing road-trip pics on Friday that promised a not-so hostile takeover of Pensacola by our local friends and their gay brethren from across the region. By Saturday, those who didn't go were regularly searching the hashtags #pensacola, #pensacola2015, #pensacolapride and #pcola2015 for eye candy.

When Sunday rolledaround, the games were in full swing. In twos, threes, fours and groups, feed photos served up pool parties, beach shots, hotel room shenanigans and dances. And yes, that's quite a few shots you see below of Lance Bass. By Monday, it felt like a contest to see who could get more photos with the gay former N*Sync boybander, who made his big gay rounds all weekend long.

The whole thing was enough to give us all we could handle of the gay goings on down in Pensy. Here are some of our favorite moments from our gays and the friends they met down south.
