Gay Atlanta floods Burkhart’s with Easter mayhem

The one reason much of gay Atlanta gets excited about Easter went down without a hitch on Sunday, when the Armorettes hosted hundreds for their annual Drag Races and bonnet contest in the Burkhart's parking lot.

True to form, the holi-gay tradition was a rowdy mess in the best way. Our boys, and even a few girls, came out in hordes sporting pastels for the tame, bunny ears for the fun, and some of the biggest bonnets in the history of the event for those in the true Drag Races spirit.

What else does it take to make this year's Races epic? Right. Fun-raising for the Armorettes PWA fund. What else? Correct. Lots – and lots, and lots! – of drinks lowering inhibitions for the crazy carnival dress-up games.
