When gay Atlanta goes national, we’re there. When some of our own go viral, we’re all over it. When 15 minutes of fame gets extended to mainstream notoriety, we must be talking about gay dads Kaleb and Kordale Lewis.
The sexy local duo and their adorable kids are back, this time as part of Nikon’s I Am Generation Image campaign (video above). The online series profiles an array of young people living their lives in our photo-heavy age of Instagram and online selfies. The couple’s inclusion came with their very own camera and gallery of pics they shot with it.
Press play for an insider’s view of their lives, which went from quiet and anonymous to Atlanta's Pride parade, a book, and a NOH8 photo shoot, to name but a few bits of attention they drew.
The Nikon ad also includes their take a year out from that photo that started it all.
“From this experience we want to teach our kids about diversity and equality,” Kordale says in the video. “We want our children to know that people are different and each individual is composed of many facets that make him or her who he or she is — not to judge on individuality but to love and embrace.”
