Police say a 48-year-old male nurse turned a furniture moving session with a 19-year-old man into a fake (and kinky) medical exam inside his Gainesville home that led to his arrest a few weeks later.
Jamieson Leland Allen approached the 19-year-old in a van on March 26 and hired him to help move furniture. But once the pair arrived at Allen's Burns Drive home near I-985, Allen allegedly convinced the man that he was a doctor and offered to perform a breathing exam, according to the Gainesville Times.
According to the indictment, Allen allegedly “did attach the title of doctor to his name and indicated that he was engaged in the treatment of diseased and injured human beings, to a member of the public.”
Allen – once a registered nurse at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville – allegedly started the exam and then forcibly sodomized the teen. An incident report describes the weapons as “hands/feet/teeth.” The victim went to the emergency room at the medical center and police interviewed him there.
A Hall County grand jury indicted Allen on April 23 on charges of sexual battery, practicing medicine without a license, aggravated sodomy, sodomy and sexual battery. He was arrested four days later, the Gainesville Times reported.
Police found buccal swabs, lotions, stethoscopes and robes in Allen's home, according to an incident report.
Allen, scheduled to return to court on May 26, has declined to speak publicly about the case, according to CBS 46.
