imageThere were plenty Friends of Dorothy on hand last week for the Pets Are Loving Support bingo fundraiser inspired by “The Wizard of Oz.”

“Back to Oz” on Aug. 10, which unfolded at Jungle, also drew on another old favorite to share hosting duties with Bubba D. Licious – Atlanta drag legend Charlie Brown.

So the gays followed the Yellow Brick Road right to the Cheshire Bridge Road club for an evening of games and drag to raise funds for PALS, which cares for the pets of critically-ill Atlanta residents.

imagePALS has had a busy, fruitful and fun year so far. In addition to its monthly bingo games, like June’s hulas (photos), May’s Alabama Prom Night Bingo (photos) and Pajama Party Bingo (photos) in April, the organization benefited from Doggies on the Catwalk early this year and crowned its 2011 Spokespet during the annual PALS Pet Cotillion (photos).

Next up for PALS: Disco Fever Bingo on Sept. 14.
