Friends, fans bid final farewell to Ashley Kruiz

Gay Atlanta turned out for the last goodbye to local drag favorite Ashley Kruiz on Sunday at Jungle. The Life Celebration of performances and remembrances honored the performer who passed away on March 31.

Other Atlanta drag legends, singers and people close to the entertainer took the stage to remember Kruiz. The club was decked out in photos, sashes, crowns, gowns and other memorabilia from her numerous pageant titles. The memorial was the last of three emotional benefits for Kruiz following her Easter Sunday death after an outpouring of support in her final days.
