The arrests of three men in the Feb. 4 beating of a gay Atlanta man wasn’t the end: A Fulton County grand injury indicted a fourth man for his alleged role in the attack.
Javaris Bradford, 24, now faces charges in the video-taped beating of Brandon White outside a Southwest Atlanta grocery store. Bradford was indicted on Feb. 24, along with three other men already arrested in the case – Christopher Deon Cain, Dorian Moragne and Dareal Demare Williams.
The indictment is the first time a fourth person has been publicly linked to the case.
From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
A Fulton County grand jury indicted Javaris Bradford, 24, along with Dorian Moragne, Darael Demare Williams and Christopher Deon Cain for attacking 20-year-old Brandon White on Feb. 4.
The four men were indicted on Feb. 24, and are charged with two counts of aggravated assault, one count of robbery and one count of participation in criminal street gang activity.
Bradford currently is not in police custody, according to Atlanta Police.
On Friday, Moragne was granted $40,000 bond but remains jailed until a probation revocation hearing. Maybe that charm offensive from his mother and attorney Jay Abt worked.
Williams remains jailed in Pennsylvania.
