Some say that first impressions are the only impression. They’ll always be remembered. It’s important to smile, wear deodorant and be polite. Except, of course, in the anything-goes world of Grindr. I’m always amazed at the display of bravery/audacity on Grindr when someone messages me with not a universal greeting of “hello,” but an opening line that is a little less conventional.
