Football jocks don drag, bare their buns [photos]

Their regular season over but their desire for performance not yet quenched, the gay flag football jocks let their hair down – literally – and their pants, too, for a raucous drag show and hot buns contest on Saturday.

This was a weekend for gay athletes to don their drag apparel for charity.

So the National Flag Football League of Atlanta capped their first week of playoffs with the inaugural Ladies of the League Pageant and Hot Legs & Buns Contest at Jungle. Six lads turned lassies, thanks to the help of some very patient Armorettes, and five bootylicious guys worked their stuff on stage.

Tips and a trio of judges helped determine the winners. A rowdy crowd didn’t hurt, either. And those Armorettes? The event raised more than $600 to benefit the HIV charities the Armorettes support.

The football jocks, sans dresses, return to the field on Saturday.
