Gay jocks party for Beyoncé Super Bowl [photos]

Gay jocks gathered on Sunday for a Beyoncé concert bookended by a football game, watching the diva perform in an upscale Midtown space while pitching the upcoming season of their flag football league.

Sure, the Baltimore Ravens knocked off the San Francisco 49ers in the gayest Super Bowl yet. But honey, don’t mistake that for the main draw — the halftime entertainment from Beyoncé. The loud buzz of chatter from the standing room only crowd at Ten — the gay-owned space that opened just weeks ago — went quiet when she stepped on stage.

The National Flag Football League of Atlanta hosted the watch party, an annual tradition that signals the start of the season is near. The league hosts Play ‘N Greet Orientation sessions on Feb. 23 and March 2, with registration running through March 3. The season opens on March 23.
