Flag football jocks throw Super Bowl party at Blake’s

The gay jocks of the National Flag Football League of Atlanta cheered on the Falcons and recruited for their own league during Super Bowl Sunday at Blake's.

It's an annual thing that provides an evening of fun – just like it did last year, in 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2010. As the game unfolded, and the Falcons flopped, there were plenty of cocktails, raffle prizes and drag queen cheerleaders to distract the crowd.

Registration for the flag football league remains open but you better hurry. The league shifts into high gear soon with a meet and greet for new players on Feb. 25 and a team reveal party at Jungle on March 4. Preseason games are scheduled for March 18 with the season opening a week later on March 25.

And with the Super Bowl done, it means we're that much closer to this messy margarita madness.
