The gay jocks of the National Flag Football League of Atlanta capped a rain- and cocktail-soaked season with a championship battle on the field and then a party off. Of course they did.
The Burkhart's Bombers dropped the Frogs Frogs 27-0 on June 22 in Grant Park to wrap up the season for the 10-team league. And later that night, the league handed out trophies and awards during a closing party at Jungle.
How'd we get here? One cocktail at a time. A Super Bowl party with Beyoncé started things off, then some skills sessions on the field, some more cocktails and then margaritas for St. Patrick's Day. Then pre-season games. Regular season games. Rain. And plenty of drag.
