Five tracks we want for Madonna Rama, Santa

Add this share

Not content to limit his popular Madonna Ramas to Her Madgesty’s birthday in August each year, DJ Ed Bailey returns to Jungle on Saturday for Madonna Rama: Santa Baby Edition. Here’s our wish list.

Just how well do Bailey’s Madonnna Ramas and Madonna Gaga Ramas go? For one, the DJ makes a fulltime career traveling the globe with them. Need more proof? Just take one look at the photo above from last year’s Madonna Gaga Rama, and feel free to check out more to get in the mood.

Yes, there are too many options for our dream playlist, but we narrowed it down to five amazing remixes from scores of our other favorites that we hope to get into the groove with at Saturday’s party.

“Nothing Really Matters” – The Club 69 Remix is already reverberating in our heads. We hope that motion travels to our booties when Bailey hits the booth.

“Express Yourself” – Take a great upbeat song, and pour The Shep’s “Spressin Himself” Remix all over it, and we might let out a little scream. This is among the best remixes of any song. Ever.

“What It Feels Like For a Girl” – Dance duo Above & Beyond remix it to prime club optimization. Race you to the dance floor, bitches!

“Like A Prayer” – The live Sticky and Sweet Tour Version puts a modern, danceable spin on this classic that just makes us want to throw our hands in the air.

“Don’t Tell Me” – Speaking of hands aloft, the Thunderpuss Hands In The Air Anthem is right for the night. Why? It is super long, and it is fierce. Enough said.

Bonus Track: You knew we couldn’t stick to five. Throw in a dash of the HQ2 Club Mix of “Music” to make our dream set complete.
