Facebook reveals gayest moments of your 2012

My year was pretty gay. How about you? Facebook has gathered your public expressions of drama in the form of a year in review for your friends to see, based on your most popular posts.

Facebook’s new Year in Review promises a look at your 20 biggest moments from 2012 – life events, highlighted posts and popular stories. In other words, the 20 times you got drunk in front of a camera, showed off your abs at the pool and liked that new annoying pop song you dance to.

It also shows how many friends you added this year and the pages you liked. Translation: Just six new friends? Sad. Liked that rubber fetish page? Get it, freaky. Better is the photo collage at the top of the page that cycles through images you snapped or were tagged in during 2012. Drunk much?

My Year In Review was a fun, decidedly gay trip down memory lane. Apparently, I hug lots of cute guys, take lots of photos of boys in their underwear and, on occasion, play softball in drag. I also tend to watch as my partner fixes stuff.

You can view your own year in review here. You can also peep into the lives of your friends by entering their custom URL. Sadly, you can’t check the year in review of any hottie you’re not already Facebook friends with. But you can share your Year in Review on Facebook. Of course you can.

The social network also released a list of trends for 2012. See if your year matches up with the most popular movies, events, check-ins and politics across the U.S.

Try out your Facebook Year in Review and let us know in the comments if you enjoyed the trip down memory lane. Or if you were sober enough to remember any of it.
