Ex-gay Rev. DL Foster attacks gay Atlanta author

Ex-gay pastor DL Foster launched a full frontal attack on gay Atlanta blogger and author Darian Aaron, calling his take on being gay and Christian “piggish thinking,” heresy and a license for immorality. Aaron tells his story of being “Black, Gay and Christian” in the April issue of Ebony, a positive story in a magazine not known for its positive portrayals of black gays. Aaron called the piece “a pretty big deal.” Foster (photo), who has celebrated more than two decades of praying away the gay, took exception to the essay and criticized both Aaron and the magazine in a post Monday on his website, Gay Christian Movement Watch. From Ebony Magazine and the parable of the pig:

There are numerous examples of piggish thinking in Aaron’s testimony. Like the book of Jude notes, its the story representing ungodly people, “who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.” (vs 4). It eschews the biblical standards on sexual behavior (for obvious, self-serving reasons) in favor of “prayer and spiritual communion”. Thats an old, regurgitated heresy called antinomianism. Taken from Greek: anti nomos “against the law”. In this case its against God’s laws regarding sexual conduct. A belief which manifests in several different forms but mainly exalts one’s personal experience or ” the spirit” over scripture. You can also see the itching ear syndrome in Aaron’s testimony. Faced with unyeilding truth, gay christians retreat to their own “affirming churches” heaping teachers unto themselves who will make them feel “affirmed” with preprogrammed lies. Aaron’s blog (you can google it for confirmation) contains the typical homosexual fare: pornography, lust, lies, perversion and garden variety confusion. If he is representative of the gay christian movement, we can reasonably conclude that gay christians can commit fornication, adultery, lie, watch porn, promote porn, engage in idolatry, deny the authority of the scriptures, despise truth and encourage marriage perversion. And still be a christian. At least that’s what the sign hanging around their neck says. And the man — their owner— keeps insistently pointing at the sign.
Aaron was made aware of Foster’s post on Wednesday. His reaction? Foster could have used a better photo of him.
This ish is hllarious! According to DL (short for down low) Foster I'm a pig that ran a pornographic blog. Ha! Damn. He could have used a better picture of me. The one he chose is photo shopped to the GAWDS! I feel a weird sense of accomplishment that he's bashing the Ebony piece. I could care less about what he thinks. Funny to me.
