Evolution Project hosts Pride lounge [photos]

Amidst the hubbub of Black Gay Pride events from big blowouts to serious business, the men of the Evolution Project chilled during the Labor Day Weekend celebration at their own Life Lounge.

Life Lounge invited all of Evolution’s constituents – black gay and bisexual men 18-28 years old – to a game night on Friday at Black Gay Pride’s host hotel the Melia. The guys and their guests enjoyed cards, dominoes, snacks and even some giveaways to go with their all that camaraderie the group is known for.

The Evolution Project is an AID Atlanta effort to reach the high-risk demographic group through a drop-in community center, social interaction and special events. We last caught up with them at their “Don’t Bust On Me!” Luau, a drag fundraiser with “RuPaul’s Drag Race’s” Tyra Sanchez and Maria Paris Balenciaga, and a Q&A with gay filmmaker Patrik-Ian Polk.
