Evolution Project gets soaking wet [photos]

The Evolution Project pulled on their grass skirts, grabbed their big water guns and got soaking wet on Saturday during an outdoor luau at the Midtown community center.

The Get Em’ Wet Luau offered music, drinks, food and fun water sports — “Don’t Bust On Me!” (Water Balloon Dodge ball), Get ‘Em Wet: Super Soaker Tag, “Don’t Bust the Condom”, “Down Low (DL) Limbo” – at the non-profit’s community center on Juniper Street.

The agency, an AID Atlanta effort, focuses on black gay men between the ages of 18 to 28. And they know how to throw an event. They hosted that fundraiser with “RuPaul’s Drag Race” contestants Tyra Sanchez and Mariah Paris Balenciaga and a Q&A with gay filmmaker Patrik-Ian Polk.
